Breakfast with John Anderson

John Anderson served as the Member for Gywdir in the Federal Parliament for nineteen years.  A senior Cabinet Minister for nine years in the Howard Government, he was the Leader of the National Party and Deputy Prime Minister of Australia for six years until he stepped down in July 2005.

He held portfolio responsibility for Primary Industries and Energy and later Transport and Regional Services.  He also served on the National Security Committee, and the Expenditure Review Committee, the body that returned Australian Government budget to surplus.  John now serves on a number of Boards, including two commercial businesses and a number of charitable bodies
